It all began with two dogs who deserved better.
Gus, my French Mastiff, and Ben, my dad (and otto® co-founder) Paul’s Chocolate Lab, struggled for years on conventional kibble—persistent itching, fleas, bad breath, and chronic inflammation that nothing seemed to fix.
We discovered raw feeding when it was still a quiet, underground movement. The change was dramatic: energy returned, coats improved, and their chronic issues faded. For the first time in years, our dogs truly thrived. Conventional mail-order raw was too costly, so Paul took on the work himself, preparing fresh meals for every dog in the family for the next twelve years.
We loved the results but hated the hassle—the constant grinding, overloaded freezers, and daily mess of measuring and serving from bulk tubs.
Then came Benny and Rusty.
That’s when Brandon stepped in—my childhood best friend and otto® co-founder.
After seeing the transformation in our dogs, Brandon decided to try the same approach with Benny and Rusty. No long learning curve. No DIY equipment. He simply fed Paul's raw food and the results came quickly. Two healthy, vibrant dogs with none of the old problems.

Our mission is straightforward: make raw feeding simple, affordable, and sustainable for every dog owner. We deliver at roughly half the cost of traditional mail-order raw, with far greater convenience than making it yourself, and zero waste—the pods return, get sanitized, and cycle back into service.
